It takes a village to raise a happy child
Early Years Music Matters
Early years music is failing our children—from preschools and nurseries to childminder settings and even early school reception classes. Too often, it's reduced to a handful of repetitive nursery rhymes sung half-heartedly at circle time, with no structure, progression, or understanding of its developmental power.

Our Music System Nurtures Growth
We integrate Edwin Gordon's Music Play curriculum, movement, and early communication (including Makaton) to make every experience inclusive, expressive, and developmentally rich.
Our music sessions are child centered, directly inspired by Maria Montessori and Pikler's early years philosophy, and blend approaches by Dalcroze (music and movement), Orff and Kodály.

Music Develops...
The under-5 brain is in its most rapid growth phase — synapses form at explosive rates, and musical experiences shape neural pathways for life. But this is also true for teens, adults and seniors.
Without quality, structured music and movement, children miss critical boosts in:

Language & Vocabulary
Song contours & rhyme

Motor Coordination
Rhythm & movement

Confidence & Self-Regulation
Turn-taking & expression

Early Maths
Pulse, metre & sequence
Delays compound: neurodivergent children fall further behind without inclusive, sensory-rich music; disadvantaged settings perpetuate gaps. Childminders, carers, and parents must step in today with practical tools to deliver music that truly develops the whole child.
