Service Description

Discover a musical experience created specifically for childminders working with mixed ages from birth to 5 in the Shoeburyness and Southend On Sea Central area. These sessions are carefully designed so you can confidently weave high‑quality music into your everyday routine, even if you don’t see yourself as “musical.” Each class gives you simple, repeatable ideas you can reuse at home—from welcome songs to tidy‑up tunes and calm‑down moments—making music a natural part of your day with the children. Babies, toddlers, and pre‑schoolers share the space together, with activities that are easily adapted for different ages and stages. Gentle piano, Ukelele and Recorder played live to traditional lullabies, and fresh nursery rhymes create a rich musical atmosphere, while age‑appropriate instruments and props support sensory exploration, motor skills, and early turn‑taking between children. You’ll see how the same song can be simplified for babies and extended for older children, helping mixed‑age groups stay engaged. These are not just music classes; they are Music Play Curriculum–informed sessions that nurture musical brains and social‑emotional growth. Children explore sounds, pulse, and rhyme through play, while you build a toolkit of songs, games, and routines that help with transitions, group harmony, and behaviour. As they listen, move, and join in, children practise sharing, waiting, copying, and expressing their ideas through rhythm and melody. Each session flows like a gentle musical story, with clear structure that makes it easy for childminders to follow and lead. Children become the stars of their own musical adventures, building creativity and confidence, while you gain practical strategies you can carry into the rest of your week. These early musical experiences support speech and language, listening skills, and self‑regulation, and they contribute to overall well‑being. You leave each class with songs in your pocket, ideas in your head, and the reassurance that you’re giving the children in your care a strong, joyful foundation for future learning through music. HOW TO BOOK? Select the children you are bringing to session as we price the groups at £2.50 for under 2 year olds and £3 for over 2 year olds. Then add them to your cart. Do this until you have the right combination of children BONUS: At the end of session a Music Session Lesson Plan Template will be shared together with your very own Fridge "Music Practice Weekly Calendar"
